Terms & Conditions

  • Irrespective of your reason, if cancellation is requested more than (5) business days prior to the program start date, your entire program fee less a $20.00 administration fee will be returned to you.
  • If cancellation is requested less than (5) business days before the program start date then a refund will not be issued, but you may reschedule to another suitable date.
  • A $20.00 administration fee will apply to accommodate any changes.
  • Please be aware that failure to attend a program to which you are registered constitutes an outright forfeitment of fees.
  • In the event of a course being cancelled by Health Education Inc., you will be notified and receive a full refund on fees paid, or have the option to register to another suitable date without any administration fees.
  • The above Terms & Conditions are not applicable to First Aid Instructor, First Aid Instructor Recertification, First Aid Transfer, Emergency Medical Dispatch, Emergency Medical Responder and any other programs deemed applicable by Health Education Inc. as governed by terms and conditions specific to those programs.

Privacy Policy

Rest assured that all information collected about you will be used in the strictest of confidence for the following purposes:

  • Name and contact information so that we may effectively get in touch with you and notify you of any changes to your registration. We may also use this information to provide you with timely reminders about expirations on your attained certifications and awards, as well as provide to you any promotional coupons and discounts not available otherwise, as consented by yourself.
  • Products and services related information that is requested by yourself which we provide to ensure a perfect fit to suit your needs.
  • Credit Card information such as your preferred method of payment for services received from us.
  • Business Relationship information so that we may effectively provide you with suitable credit terms and facilities and communicate that with the appropriate decision makers.

Any information provided will be used solely for the purposes outlined above and will not be sold to other organizations that solicit such information, nor will it be used to inundate your mailbox (electronic or otherwise) with unnecessary marketing and spam. The personal information provided by you may be shared with our employees, contractors and/or consultants to help us better manage our ongoing relationship with you within the parameters described above, so as not to violate any terms and conditions provided within applicable laws or regulatory requirements.

Security Policy

The security of your personal information is important to us. With this in mind, we have taken several steps to safeguard the data collected through our system:

  • All information that you enter within our data entry screens is encrypted by your browser before it is sent over the internet, and any personal information provided by our system when you log in is similarily encrypted. Look for our secure site seal on those pages, and ensure the padlock icon is displayed in your browser window (usually in the bottom right corner).
  • All passwords you provide are encrypted using a one-way function, so that the original password cannot be retrieved by anyone.
  • Any Credit Card information entered on our payment screen is not stored by Health Education Inc. We process the transaction in real time and then discard the Credit Card information you provided.
  • We have taken several actions to prevent unauthorized access to our servers.
  • Physical access to our servers is controlled, and 24hr monitoring is in place.
  • Administrative access to the system is restricted on a need-to-have basis.
